Sailing Events at LDYC

In addition to club racing, LDYC hosts a number of sailing Events every year, a combination of local, regional, national and International Events.

These are either for those Classes that are sailed regularly on Lough Derg, or for other Classes who want to sail on the idyllic waters of Lough Derg, given the easy motorway access from our major cities, and the boat and sailor friendly facilities at LDYC.

Because LDYC is in a small holiday village, all aspects of the sailing event takes place within walking distance of each other, adding hugely to the ambience and camaraderie that our sailors enjoy in Dromineer. LDYC is a destination event location.
