Monsters Junior Summer Sailing Camp 2025

Introduce your little adventurer ages 6 years and up to the wonders of the water and the great outdoors with Lough Derg Yacht Club's exciting Monsters Programme! This isn't just about sailing (yet!), it's about fostering a lifelong love and respect for the natural world and igniting a passion for watersports. Through engaging activities, games, and hands-on experiences, your child will discover the magic of Lough Derg and build a foundation for future sailing adventures.

Our experienced instructors will lead the Monsters on a journey of discovery, exploring the lake's ecosystem and the environment, learning about water safety, and developing essential skills to ease them into their sailing boats, like knotwork, rigging, teamwork and problem-solving. We'll be splashing, exploring, and learning together, creating unforgettable summer memories and preparing them for our full sailing programme when they're a little older. Although boats are not mandatory if you monster owns one, please feel free to bring it along and let your instructor know.
