Secondary Schools Team Racing - Training Weekend

4th - 5 October

Lough Derg Yacht Club and Irish Schools Sailing present the inaugural Schools Team Racing Training Clinic. This is open to all secondary schools students.

The event shall be raced by teams of six sailors in dinghies sailed by two people and supplied by the Organising Authority (OA)

  • Round Robin Format
  • Experienced Coaches on the Water
  • Live on the water umpiring
  • Scenario Racing/Tactics
  • Tactical Theory Sessions
  • Guided Learning & Skills Development

Day 1

  • 09:30 First Gun.
  • Lunch, Soup  Snack throughout the day, 
  • Dinner & Desert
  • Last Race no later than 18:00
  • Dinner in Clubhouse

Day 2

  • Coaching from 09:30 - 15:00
  • Breakfast, Lunch, Soup, Snack during the dayThe event shall be raced by teams of six sailors in dinghies sailed by two people and supplied by the OA
  • Prize Giving

Important note: Entries should be done through the LDYC booking system - which you need to register and sign up for. Follow the instructions when selecting the tickets.
